This is an independent RP blog for Yelena Belova. She is 616 based, but I do have MCU verses.Any NSFW content will be tagged or under a read more. Mun is 25+.Yelena isn't much of a people person, so please don't be surprised if your muse is met with a little bit of attitude. Particularly if it's a muse she doesn't know.I don't accept any god-modding. I control my character, you control yours. Please don't attempt to kill Yelena without discussing it with me first-- I'm all up for action threads, but ain't nobody killing my baby.As she's primarily 616 based, you will see some shipping with certain Natasha Romanova blogs. In these threads, they are NOT related. I do have MCU verses available, and whilst I prefer the fact that they are not sisters, I will write that in some threads. This is my portrayal of Yelena, and as such there will be shipping. I'm aware that people prefer to think she is asexual { a good post to read about this is found here }, but I portray my characters using my own (bisexual) sexuality usually. Yelena will be played as demiromantic/sexual. If you don't agree with this, don't follow me. I won't accept hate on this matter. This doesn't mean that I will ship her with just anyone; ships will be slowly built, not rushed.

I tend to prioritize threads that I have the most muse for, so that I can keep my muse flowing. Sometimes I struggle writing, so I enjoy getting on and just letting myself reply to whatever takes my fancy a the time. This doesn't mean that I don't enjoy our threads, but please be patient with me and I will get there eventually. I have another blog that is my main account, and I tend to spend a little more time over there.

ABOUT

Yelena Belova is a product of the Red Room. Determined to beat Natasha's scores wherever she could, Yelena pushed herself to extremes and would often beat herself up if Natasha could do something better. Unlike the Widow that inspired her determination, Yelena didn't undergo any surgery using serum-- she only underwent physical training. This makes her no less deadly, however. In an attempt to show Yelena that being a spy was by no means glamorous, Natasha enlisted Fury and Daredevil to capture Yelena and surgically swap their faces onto each other's bodies. This sent Yelena a little mad, but did go some way to showing her that her 'leaders' didn't care for her so much as what she could do for them. She was expendable, and she learned this. After 'solving' the murder of her mentor, Yelena left the spy life behind for a short time and became a lingerie model; she also owned a lingerie empire that turned over half a million dollars a month, a couple of soft-core porn channels in Moscow, and homes in six different countries including Havana, where she helped keep female sex workers safe and distributed medicine to those affected by AIDS.For a brief time, Yelena was known as The Adaptoid after suffering third degree burns during a run in with the Avengers. She was given powers that allowed her to take the powers that were used to attack her, making her almost unstoppable until she over-shot and weakened herself by taking both the Sentry's and the Void's powers. Here, her mysterious benefactor hit a 'fail safe' button and seemingly killed her. She was alive, however, and later found working briefly with the black-ops team Vanguard. Yelena was kept in stasis within Avengers Tower whilst Natasha pretended to be her to infiltrate the Thunderbolts team, and was later awakened only to be recovered by A.I.M., who invited her to join their high council as Minister of State.Currently, Yelena is working alongside Natasha, having formed their own little team. Together they are working to put a stop to a new villain named Apogee, who is forcing super powers onto his cult-like followers that will end up burning straight through them.

VERSES

★ MAIN VERSE (616) : ★SUMMARY : This verse, for the most part, follows 616 canon. Where in the time-line it's set can depend on the thread. Because this is 616, Natasha and Yelena are not considered sisters.Most threads will be taking part in recent canon, meaning that Yelena and Natasha are busy working together on taking down Apogee. If your character isn't tied to this comic and doesn't know what's going on in it, then all they need to know is Yelena working with Natasha. They would know little else about her current operations. Any characters that don't know about what she's up to but know Yelena are more than welcome to be sus of her.★ TBA : ★SUMMARY : This blog is still relatively new, so as I add more verses they will be added here :) feel free to hmu for aus!:)

★ MCU VERSE : ★SUMMARY : This verse follows MCU canon for Yelena. The only diversion is that I personally prefer that Nat and Yelena are not sisters. However if that's in your canon, I'm happy to write it for that thread. Same applies to Alexei and Melina, but that's because I'm coming from a more comic canon for Yelena. Threads can be adjusted to accommodate the MCU canon.In this verse, most of the threads will likely be set post BW movie. I can work with you to create threads around what happened in the movie of course, and I'm open to AUs where Yelena came into the time-line a little earlier. Just hit me up if you have an idea!

This is a list of all my mains! I won't have too many of the same character, but I also won't be doing exclusives. This is purely because so many of my close friends write BEAUTIFUL versions of their characters and I would love to interact with them all.
